Bishop O'Connell suffered their biggest loss since April 6, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 14-8 to the Highland Hawks. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chaz Walker was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Truman Leckey was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Bishop O'Connell's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Highland, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Bishop O'Connell has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 victory against St. Mary's Ryken on the 3rd. As for Highland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Woodberry Forest on the 4th.
