Montgomery barely beat Southwest SD the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aztecs blew past the Raiders 24-13 on Tuesday. The Aztecs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Montgomery and bumps their season record up to 15-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.5 runs over those games. As for Southwest SD, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery will welcome Castle Park at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Aztecs are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Southwest SD, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sweetwater at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season.
