Softball Recap: Lake Braddock Bruins vs. Hayfield Hawks
Lake Braddock was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Hayfield on Wednesday. Lake Braddock put the hurt on Hayfield with a sharp 11-5 win. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2015.

Mac Verdejo made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
