Football Recap: Kingstree Starts off Right with Win over Georgetown

Kingstree had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They pulled ahead with a 24-23 photo finish over the Georgetown Bulldogs. This was payback for the Blazers, who suffered a 13-12 loss the last time these two teams met.

Randy McFadden threw for 68 yards and one TD. Tyleek Dukes was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards.

Kingstree wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 21-12 defeat against Carvers Bay on the 29th. As for Georgetown, they have also already played their next game, a 30-7 loss against Andrews on the 29th.
