Basketball Recap: South Atlanta Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

South Atlanta had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-49 W against Drew Charter. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-41 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Atlanta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Duor Duor, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Duor is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Thornhill, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

South Atlanta's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-7. As for Drew Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

As of now, neither South Atlanta nor Drew Charter have any future games scheduled.
