Basketball Recap: Riverside Academy Comes Up Short

Riverside Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 69-52 to the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 140th).

Riverside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Ascension Catholic, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-8.

As of now, neither Riverside Academy nor Ascension Catholic have any future games scheduled.
