Volleyball Recap: Lake Howell Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

Lake Howell came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lake Mary Rams 3-0. The Silverhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Lake Howell never let Lake Mary on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-10.

Tyler Windt paced Lake Howell's offense, picking up 14 kills. Windt got some help from Zac Crandell and his 30 assists.

Lake Howell's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Lake Mary, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Lake Howell has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Ridge Community on the 23rd. After both having extra time off, Lake Mary and Hagerty will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
