Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame Victorious

Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame hadn't done well against Valley Christian recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame Knights came out on top against the Valley Christian Panthers by a score of 50-39. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 69-26 defeat.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Christian lost, don't look at Harrison Arnold. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 14 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Westin Madden, who posted nine points.

Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wilbur-Creston-Keller the next time they take the court. Valley Christian will head out to face Wilbur-Creston-Keller at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame will head out to face them on Friday.
