With a playoff win on the line, Discovery Canyon rose to the challenge on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Fossil Ridge SaberCats 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Thunder, who have now won nine games in a row.
Brennan Miles paced Discovery Canyon's offense, picking up 19 kills. Miles got some help from Bradley Hocking and his 27 assists. Finally, Cameron Tuck kept Discovery Canyon's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
