Football Recap: Clinton County Comes Up Short at Home Against Jackson County + How To Watch

Clinton County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 42-32 to the Jackson County Blue Devils on Friday. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Jackson County found their leader in sophomore Braiden Dodson, who rushed for 167 yards and three scores, and also picked up 52 receiving yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton County will host Edmonson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson County, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
