Softball Recap: Clayton Takes a Loss

Clayton lost against Santa Rosa on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets lost 19-3 to the Lions. The game marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Clayton dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Santa Rosa, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clayton will welcome Logan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Rosa, they will square off against Mora at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Rangers/Rangerettes have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
