Baseball Recap: Cedarville Comes Up Short

Cedarville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cossatot River Eagles, falling 12-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 21-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Cedarville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justice Workman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Cedarville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cossatot River, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

When Cedarville and Cossatot River next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Pirates will try to stop Charleston's four-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cossatot River will square off against Booneville and their four-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
