Soccer Game Preview: North Buncombe vs. A.C. Reynolds + Official Tickets

North Buncombe hasn't had much luck against A.C. Reynolds recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Black Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Rockets at 6:45 p.m.

North Buncombe managed to keep up with Enka until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Black Hawks came up short against the Jets, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, North Buncombe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 275th, while Enka are ranked 102nd).

Bodie Cardine and Griffin Tucker scored both of North Buncombe's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, A.C. Reynolds had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 4-0 victory. A.C. Reynolds' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

North Buncombe now has a losing record of 7-8-3. As for A.C. Reynolds, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

North Buncombe couldn't quite get it done against A.C. Reynolds when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Black Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
