Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central can now relate to. They came up short against the Northridge Jaguars on Friday, falling 19-4. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Northridge, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-16.

Central has already played their next matchup, a 12-8 victory against Paul W. Bryant on the 26th. Hopefully Northridge paid attention to the Falcons' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Falcons on Saturday.
