Courtland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Massaponax Panthers to the tune of 35-6. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cougars just coasted through the last quarter.

Despite the loss, Massaponax still got an impressive performance from Joe Sanders, who rushed for 147 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
