Recap: Wright City Lumberjax vs. Fort Towson Tigers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Wright City Lumberjax gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They really took it to Fort Towson for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-37 victory at home. The victory was just what Wright City needed coming off of a 48-27 loss in their prior matchup.
Wright City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Conner Green, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joseph Vance, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Wright City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Fort Towson, they bumped their record down to 6-12 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Valliant the next time they take the court. Wright City will head out to face Valliant at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Fort Towson will host them at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
