Caledonia-Mumford had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.1 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 64-15 win over the Warsaw Tigers. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Tigers are ranked 712th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caledonia-Mumford's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.9 points over those games. As for Warsaw, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Caledonia-Mumford will host York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. York knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Caledonia-Mumford likes a good challenge. As for Warsaw, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wayland-Cohocton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
