There's no place like home for West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against South Greene on Friday as West made off with a 12-2 win. West not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11, 2024.

West got a great performance from Isaac Lange as he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Will Lenczynski was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Dylan Stenstrom was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

West now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Greene, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

West has already played their next match, a 9-1 victory against David Crockett on the 7th. As for South Greene, they will square off against Lakeway Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lakeway Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Greene surely won't give up without a fight.
