Basketball Game Preview: Thurston Eagles vs. Rochester Falcons

Having just played yesterday, the Thurston Eagles will get right back to it and host the Rochester Falcons at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday. Thurston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Thurston is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 85-22 stomp they got against Osborn. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Rochester was a bit more limited in their matchup last Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Pontiac an easy 53-29 win. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Thurston's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Rochester, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.
