Soccer Game Preview: Liberty Christian Academy vs. Epiphany

The Liberty Christian Academy Heat will head out to face off against the Epiphany Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Epiphany will be coming in after a loss.

Liberty Christian Academy barely beat Mintz Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Heat blew past the Lions 8-0 on Monday. That eight goal margin sets a new team best for Liberty Christian Academy this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Epiphany was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 7-1 to Greenfield. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Epiphany were already down 4-1.

Epiphany's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Liberty Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Everything went Liberty Christian Academy's way against Epiphany in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Liberty Christian Academy made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Heat since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
