Volleyball Recap: Winnebago Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Winnebago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dakota. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dakota this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Winnebago was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20.

Bailee Olson paced Winnebago's offense, picking up six kills. Olson got some help from Aubrey Eklund and her seven assists.

Winnebago's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Dakota, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Winnebago didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Genoa-Kingston on the 23rd. As for Dakota, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Orangeville on the 23rd.
