Soccer Game Preview: Middle Creek vs. Cary + How To Watch

The Middle Creek Mustangs will take on the Cary Imps at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Middle Creek will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

On Monday, Middle Creek needed a bit of extra time to put away Cardinal Gibbons. Their defense stepped up to hand the Crusaders a 1-0 shutout. Middle Creek's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Meanwhile, Cary earned a 2-0 win over Felton Grove on Monday. Given Cary's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Felton Grove are ranked 426th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lucas Rosas and Emerson Selig scored both of Cary's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Cary now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Middle Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1-1.
