Volleyball Recap: Swanton Takes a Loss

Swanton lost against Springfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-13.

Swanton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Springfield, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Swanton is set to square off against their familiar foe Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Springfield will face off against rival Perrysburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils are on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Yellow Jackets a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
