Volleyball Recap: Waukee Falls Short Against Ranked Valley

Waukee faced Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Waukee's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Valley, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-10.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Indianola on the 18th. Hopefully Waukee paid attention to the Tigers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
