Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Harrold

Harrold barely beat Munday the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Moguls on Monday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Kinsler Ramsey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carson Welch, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brailen Garza, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for Harrold, bringing their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Munday, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5.

As of now, neither Harrold nor the Moguls have any future games scheduled.
