Baseball Recap: Glendora Tartans vs. Maranatha Minutemen
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Glendora ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Maranatha Minutemen.
Daniel Conness was excellent, going 1-for-3 with a triple, two RBI, and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Yamazaki, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Glendora's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Maranatha, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glendora will take on Riverside Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Glendora is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. Maranatha will take on El Rancho at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
