Volleyball Recap: Box Elder Bees vs. Springville Red Devils

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Box Elder can now relate to. They fell just short of the Springville Red Devils by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter Buchanan paced Box Elder's offense, picking up ten kills. Buchanan got some help from Dallin McKee and his 13 assists. Peter Laing controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Box Elder's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Springville, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Box Elder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Salem Hills on the 10th.
