Pleasant Valley has gone 9-1 against Enterprise recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will head out to face off against the Hornets at 2:00 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Pleasant Valley's offense. They came up short against Foothill on Friday, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Pleasant Valley got a good showing from Holden Franks, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Franks has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Pleasant Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greyson Christie, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Enterprise hadn't beaten Shasta on the road since March 9, 2024 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Hornets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Wayde Hutchings spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.

Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Pleasant Valley's way against Enterprise when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Pleasant Valley made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
