Basketball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waynoka Railroaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 64-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Waynoka, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.

Canton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-42 loss against Beaver on the 25th. As for Waynoka, they will face off against Cherokee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
