Volleyball Recap: Germantown Comes Up Short

Germantown was the 3-0 winner over DeSoto Central when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Germantown took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 14-25, 24-26, 25-17, 15-12.

Germantown now has a losing record of 3-4. As for DeSoto Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Germantown will face off against Northwest Rankin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeSoto Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Center Hill at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
