Zoe Miller and Temperence Brubaker were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Miller tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Brubaker pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Miller has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. At bat, Miller went 1-for-2 with two runs, while Brubaker went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave Brubaker a new career-high.

Potter went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Hafey got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Potter a new career-high. Abigail Evans also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Lancaster Catholic came tearing into Monday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Braves as they made off with a 6-0 victory.

Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Annville-Cleona, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Wednesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Annville-Cleona has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .496. However, it's not like Lancaster Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .469. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Annville-Cleona couldn't quite finish off Lancaster Catholic in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 10-8. Can the Dutchmen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
