Baseball Recap: Whippany Park Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Whippany Park won against Hanover Park on Wednesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 4-1 win over the Manville Mustangs. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Whippany Park's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Manville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whippany Park will head out to square off against Hanover Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manville, they will venture away from home to take on Morris Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
