Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baldwin County). They blew past the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets 20-0 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Allison Flowers was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke McGowin, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Baldwin County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McGill-Toolen only posted an OBP of .182.
