Recap: Bishop Kenny Crusaders vs. Hilton Head Island Seahawks
The Bishop Kenny Crusaders came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 74-18 win over Hilton Head Island on the road. Bishop Kenny's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Riley Talbert continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with three steals. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Makala DesJarlais, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Hilton Head Island still got an impressive performance from Leah Jackson, who scored nine points.
Bishop Kenny's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Hilton Head Island, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Blue Ridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hilton Head Island in South Carolina (Blue Ridge is ranked 23rd, while Hilton Head Island is ranked 137th).
