Baseball Recap: Antelope Valley Takes a Loss

Antelope Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 24-3 to the Lancaster Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Antelopes of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Antelope Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadiel Moreno, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Antelope Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Lancaster, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

While Antelope Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
