Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Triumphs

Lincoln won the last time they faced Springfield Southeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Railsplitters came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0.

Lincoln not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Springfield Southeast between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14.

Lauren Tedrick was nothing short of spectacular: she had seven aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Springfield Southeast, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-21.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Bloomington on the 23rd. As for Springfield Southeast, they will head out to face off against Lanphier at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
