Soccer Game Preview: Forest vs. Crystal River

The Forest Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Crystal River Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Forest managed to slip by West Port the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Wolf Pack on Friday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Forest haven't been shut out since back in November of 2025.

Meanwhile, Crystal River kept a clean sheet against South Sumter on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Raiders. Crystal River haven't had any issues with South Sumter recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Keegan Rowthorn and Dante Brooks scored both of Crystal River's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-2. As for Crystal River, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.
