Basketball Game Preview: Cunningham Wildcats vs. Norwich Eagles

The Cunningham Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Norwich Eagles on Friday. Cunningham will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Tuesday, Cunningham humbled Fairfield with a 73-46 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Norwich came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 35-25.

Cunningham's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Norwich, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Cunningham came out on top in a nail-biter against Norwich in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 55-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cunningham since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
