Basketball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Memorial blew Lowellville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Lowellville got their revenge. The Red Devils fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 63-60.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lowellville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Modelski, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 boards. Modelski is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season. Ricky Willrich was another key player, shooting 45% from the field to rack up 15 points along with six boards and five steals.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lowellville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Memorial is set to take on their familiar foe Jackson-Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lowellville will square off against rival Western Reserve at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
