Soccer Game Preview: Terra Linda vs. Redwood

Terra Linda and Redwood are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2020, but likely not for long. The Terra Linda Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redwood Giants at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Terra Linda's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Tamalpais. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

Reid Brandt and Alis Dias Grijalva scored both of Terra Linda's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, everything went Redwood's way against San Rafael on Monday as Redwood made off with a 4-1 win. Given the Giants' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 629th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Terra Linda now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Redwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-3.
