Baseball Recap: Osage City Comes Up Short

If Osage City was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Council Grove last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell 8-3 to the Baldwin Bulldogs on Monday.

JD Tyson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Zach Green, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Osage City's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Baldwin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

While Osage City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
