Baseball Recap: Palo Verde Comes Up Short

Palo Verde started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Mountain Vista. They lost 11-1 to the Golden Eagles on Wednesday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Palo Verde and nudges their season record down to 9-4. As for Mountain Vista, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Palo Verde wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-3 victory against Pacifica on the 20th. As for Mountain Vista, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Centennial on the 20th.
