Paulding starts season with win at home

Recap: Paulding Panthers vs. Ottoville Big Green
Paulding gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They never let the Ottoville Big Green onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. The victory was just business as usual For Paulding, who after one games remain undefeated this season.
Greyson Harder was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. Harder was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Kane Jones was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Paulding will head out on the road to square off against Lincolnview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ottoville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Jennings at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
