Basketball Recap: Chandler Skates Past Verrado with Ease + How To Watch

Chandler won the last time they faced Verrado and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolves claimed a resounding 62-22 win over the Vipers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Chandler was led to victory by Markayla Shirley and Jordyn Moreland. Shirley shot 41% from the field on her way to 19 points and six steals, while Moreland went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points and five boards. What's more, Moreland also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Addison Winslow was another key player, putting up six points.

Chandler was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Verrado only posted four.

Despite the defeat, Verrado saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tillie Smith posted seven points.

Chandler's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Verrado, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Chandler will be playing at home against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Verrado, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-21 win against Youngker on the 4th.
