Softball Recap: Paradise Valley Drops Season-High Score on North

Paradise Valley scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 16-11 to the North Mustangs. The loss leaves the Trojans still looking for their first win of the season.

Abby Printer was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. Aliyah Anderson also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Paradise Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for North, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Paradise Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against North Canyon at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Rattlers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.67 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North, they have already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Metro Tech on the 4th.
