Baseball Recap: Pea Ridge Takes a Loss

Pea Ridge blew Green Forest out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Green Forest got their revenge. The Blackhawks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Blackhawks have suffered since March 13th.

Pea Ridge now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Green Forest, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pea Ridge will welcome Jay at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blackhawks are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Green Forest, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lead Hill at 5:00 p.m.
