Softball Recap: Plato Takes a Loss

Plato was the 12-4 winner over Norwood when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Plato's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Norwood, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Plato didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Gainesville on the 12th. As for Norwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Willow Springs on the 12th.
