The Arizona College Prep Knights suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Poston Butte by a score of 48-45. Arizona College Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Poston Butte apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.

Arizona College Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dominik Berumen, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Perez, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

Arizona College Prep's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Poston Butte, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13.

Arizona College Prep will face off against Eastmark at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Eastmark focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Poston Butte, they will be playing at home against American Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
