Kennedy is a perfect 5-0 against Highland Park since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will host the Scots at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Kennedy's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Highland Park has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Kennedy's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's struggle, when Academy of Holy Angels hitters got past them. The Eagles came up short against the Stars on Wednesday, falling 14-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Highland Park and St. Paul Central, and Highland Park kept the tradition alive. The Scots' pitchers stepped up to hand the Minutemen a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Scots, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Highland Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
