Soccer Recap: Memphis Rise Academy's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

After soaring to four goals the game before, Memphis Rise Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell just short of the Crosstown Explorers by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Memphis Rise Academy in their meetings with Crosstown: they've now lost five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Memphis Rise Academy fell to 9-1. As for Crosstown, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Memphis Rise Academy will face off against rival Memphis Business Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Crosstown is set to square off against their familiar foe Memphis East at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
